Why are we doing this? 
Because some members may not be able to make it to church on any given Sunday, and this a way for them to remotely take in Sunday worship and be part of the community.

What are we doing?
Setting up the camera to livestream the 10:30 service

How do we do this?
Setup the following:

• Camera setup
  • running mono from the shotgun mike
• Computer setup
  • Boxcast - HDMI to camera
  • do NOT need to have a local computer setup there
• put camera on the stand
  • power input for camera
  • turn on power strip​
• camera
  • power on (button to the right of mode, which should already be in movie mode)
  • leave autofocus on (make sure focusing properly)
• camera settings - prevent the user data that shows on the back of the camera (blue focus, warnings) from showing on the livestream
  • clock should be set already
  • press camera menu button
    • Motion Picture menu settings
    • HDMI Record output (click OK button - center of scroll wheel)
    • Info display - turn this Off
    • Back out of the menus until you see the picture
  • plug in HDMI cable (HDMI cable can't be plugged in to do the previous steps

Things that can go wrong & how to address them

• can sometimes turn off. If that happens, make sure camera and mixer are both on. It will restart itself (may lose a minute or two of video)
• boxcast
  • cloud symbol - internet connectivity
  • camera symbol also lit
  • if red, is not streaming
