Assistant Rector Position

Transfiguration Episcopal Church is in an exciting phase of ministry growth and seeks a dynamic and committed Priest to fulfill the role of Assistant Rector. This is a half-time post for 1 year. Please download the job description and contact the Rev. Matthew Woodward for more information..

 

Church Services

8:00 AM The Traditional Eucharist

Eucharist we use the Rite I text with its more traditional language. This quiet service thrives with a smaller community.

9:30 AM The Joyful Noise Eucharist

Family Service is a half-hour service designed for families with young children and those who like to be around families with young children. This service includes a child-focused story time, singing and movement. This short service is a great way to be introduced (or reintroduced) to the worship of God.

10:30 AM The Musical Eucharist

Inter-Generational Eucharist is a more typical church service, adapted to be inclusive of worshippers of all ages. We use the Rite II text and are led in both traditional and contemporary song by the choir. Sometimes we present scripture through Drama. Children, as well as adults, participate.

Note: on the first Sunday of each month we will have a combined 9:30AM/10:30AM service at 10:00AM.

Summer Schedule

Sundays from June 23-July 28, we will host an 8am Traditional Eucharist and a 9:30 Community Eucharist.

August 4 we will host a single 9:30am Festival Eucharist (no 8am service).

On Sunday, August 11 we will resume our normal Sunday morning schedule.
