Sunday Mornings
We offer the following activities for further education on Sunday mornings:
Nursery Care - For babies and the under 3 crowd, we offer a nursery for the little ones before and during the 10:30 service.
Kids' Club - Kids (ages 3-3rd grade) are welcome to join us in Kid's Club, which runs from 10:15 (right before the 10:30 service) until about 11:05, when the kids can come join the adults in church. We break the year down into 'units' with unique themes which run for about 4 weeks.
We're looking for volunteers to help with Kid's Club.
Chapel Time - Kids (4th grade and older) are welcome to join us in Chapel Time, which takes place during the 10:30 service. After our Opening song and prayers in the Sanctuary, children will go to the Chapel until they return during "the Peace." This year, our Chapel Time theme is "Called by God" and we'll hear stories about Biblical figures and regular folks who have responded to God's call.
We're looking for volunteers to help with Chapel Time.
Beyond Sunday Mornings
We also offer the following opportunities to learn more outside of Sunday morning:
- Tranfig Kids
- Episcopal 101
- Confirmation
- Youth Group
- Congregational Vocation Committee (CVC)
- Vacation Bible Camp (VBC)
- Transfiguration Nursery School
VBC is held for one week only in the summer. In 2007 the theme will be the Circle T-Ranch and will run from June 25-29 from 9am to 12 noon. To attend, please contact the church office.
Some of the fun of VBS included:
- Seeing everyone & singing: having a rocking good community time!
- Having a lot of time to spend time together during the week with all the church families and the kids
- Looking forward to seeing everybody every morning
And we are expecting the same out of this year’s VBS!
